Specializing in Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Training

Who We Are

We are a nonprofit team of dedicated professionals and volunteers across the West Coast with various backgrounds and experience.

Our team includes those with backgrounds in dog nutrition, training, and more.

We are passionate about working to resolve the pressing issues of canine homelessness, overpopulation, and the risk of euthanasia in overcrowded shelters in Washington and California.

What We Do

At Wagabond Dog Rescue, our mission is to passionately and creatively fight against the current problem of canine homelessness, overpopulation, and the risk of euthanasia in crowded shelters.

In order to do this, some of our operations include:

  • Rescuing shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia

  • Providing training for rescued dogs as well as privately owned dogs at risk of homelessness

  • Coordinating adoption events and other outreach events

  • Providing routine and emergent veterinary care

  • Participating in community education opportunities

  • Partnering with other rescues to provide additional support such as networking, training, and transport

We are coming up with new ideas and programs, so stay tuned!

You Can Do It Too!

We are always looking for more friends and volunteers throughout these locations, so please feel free to reach out!

Ways you can help:

  • Volunteer physically (daily, special events, construction, etc!)

  • Volunteer electronically (share posts, help respond to inquiries, community outreach)

  • Foster/Adopt

  • Donate! (monetary, items like crates/collars/fencing/etc, or products for resale or promotion collaboration)

E-mail us with any questions!

Wagabond Dog Rescue is on a mission to make a difference in the lives of homeless dogs. We believe that every dog deserves love, care, and a forever home. Through our dedicated team of volunteers, we work tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and train dogs, giving them a second chance at life.
