Hi! My name is Jackie, and I've been told I'm kind of unique looking! I'm suspected to be mixed with a blue Malinois or German Shepherd - and the blue coat type is pretty uncommon. :) My rescuers think I'm mixed with Malinois maybe, because I really love playing with balls and toys! The little girl at my old foster home did a lot of training with me with toys as a reward, and I liked that!

I'm very smart, but I can be a little shy/suspicious when meeting new people at first - especially men [which is common with dogs]. I've had 3 male caretakers at the rescue though, and did fine with them. I like most women I meet almost immediately. :)

I can be somewhat dog selective at this time, but I'd probably do better with some training and structured exposure. Same with small male children -- I warm up to little girls quicker and easier.

If you bring me home, I promise to love and protect you - I have a big bark if someone is scary, but I'm really just a big cuddlebug who wants to be loved, and I will flop myself into you for love.

My adoption fee is $150, and helps reimburse some of my care costs, so my rescue can help future dogs in need too!
